Swelling:  Moderate. An ice bag should be applied for the first few hours. Ten (10) minutes on and ten (10) minutes off. IF EYES BECOME INFECTED, call your physician and obtain prescription for eye drops.

Do not rub eyes doing so may cause damage.

Do not be alarmed by fading after first application. The final color cannot be judged until 3 weeks after touch up applications are completed.

Clean contacts can be worn 72 hrs after the procedure. You cannot use Saline to wet the eyes. Only Sterile Water…check that the wash is NOT SALINE..it will fade the liner out instantly.

Only use the Aftercare Lotion provided to you after the procedure for 10 days, or as needed, you cannot over use them. DO NOT USE TOO MUCH AFTERCARE LOTION ON THE LINER AS IT CAN IRRITATE YOUR EYES, IN THIS CASE, MORE IS NOT BETTER.

Eyeliner can and will have some residual pigment that may peel or flake off after a couple days(in most cases)..that is ok..eyeliner tends to fade more so than brows due to the moisture in the eye area. After the touch up the color stays better and lasts longer….Eyeliner will take 2-3 procedures!

Moisture: Lips will tend to be very dry. Keep them moist with AFTERCARE LOTION ONLY. Some peeling may occur. DO NOT PEEL OFF! Do not wipe your lips with a napkin while eating blot instead. Drink through a straw. Lips have a tendency to fade up to 60% after the first procedure.

Lips will fade about 50% after the first three days into a natural shade. While healing, the tattoo will look spotty.

Be careful as you pull on shirts or other garments over your face that you don’t brush the new tattoo accidentally. Also, don’t put any makeup on, particularly just after treatment. You might cause an infection or otherwise damage the tattoo. In the case of food, it may be challenging for a while to eat with tattooed lips, but it can be done. Avoid biting or licking your lips as much as possible, and make sure no food or drink stays on there.

Aftercare: Avoid Contact with Clothing, Makeup, Food and Sunlight. Take care not to expose your face to the sun for about two weeks after you get your tattoo. The sun will fade the pigment, which is still settling into your skin. Even after the tattoos have healed, be consistent with applying sunscreen to those areas of your face, to avoid fading. Lips can take 1-3 treatments for desired depth of color. Keeping lips moist daily will lengthen the time the pigment will last…everyone heals different.

Very Important: If you get cold sores or have ever had one in the past, you will need an antiviral prescription from your doctor before a lip procedure. Physicians usually instruct to take it 2 days before. As this procedure will bring out the virus if not medicated beforehand.

You have to be off Accutane or any prescribe acne medications for 1 year. NO Exceptions!
• Do not take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen or blood thinners, unless medically necessary, 72 hours prior to your procedure. Tylenol is fine.
• Do not drink coffee, alcohol or energizing drinks on the day before and of procedure. This will minimize any oozing/bleeding or swelling after the procedure.
• If you are use to getting your brows tinted, do at least 1 week prior to the permanent makeup procedure.
• Do not tan or sun bathe 30 days before and after the procedure.
• If you get your eyebrows waxed, threaded, or tinted, please have this done at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled procedure. It is recommended to wait at least 14 days to have them waxed or threaded & 30 days for tinting after the procedure.
• Do not have any chemical peels, microdermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before procedure.
• Wash your hair before the procedure.

• Do not get your brows directly wet; water, ocean, pool, sweating or any other liquids for 10 days after the treatment. Even a small drop which seems unimportant may expand the wound / possible infections / excessive scabbing may appear, and you may ruin the results.

No sweating (of any kind), gym, yoga, swimming for the 10 days. If you work out regularly results may heal more to a powdered look due to the oils the body produces when it gets heated and sweaty.
• Clean the area with a small amount of sterile water on a cotton pad 2-4 times a day for the first day. This will help remove any excess lymph, blood and pigment that may appear after the procedure.
• In case of dryness, but not earlier that the 3rd day, apply a very small amount of coconut or grape seed oil. Make sure your eyebrows are not greasy, but just moistened a little so you won’t see any residue of the oil.
• After 10 days you may use a gentle soap or non greasy facial cleanser to keep the eyebrows clean.
• Do not use other ointments, cream with vitamins or antibiotics on eyebrows during the healing process.
• No sunbathing or tanning for 4 weeks. No direct sun exposure.
• No Retinols, AHA’s, exfoliating treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, botox and any other strong treatments for 6-8 weeks after your procedure.
• Smoking WILL cause the pigment to fade prematurely and anesthetics will not last as long.
• DO NOT USE growth enhancement products such as Latisse, Revitabrow, Grande lash, one month prior and after treatment has fully healed as it may shift your color.

Please read and understand the risks to this procedure and strictly follow the aftercare instruction after the treatment.

If you do not follow the aftercare, you may ruin the results and the technician and Deluxe Brows has the right to release you from any future services.
Do not be alarmed by fading after the first application. The final color cannot be judged until at least 3 weeks after the touchup applications are completed. This is the reason follow-ups are required.

Regular makeup can be worn immediately after your procedure, just not on the treated area until healed. Absolutely NOTHING on the brows..no makeup, lotions, pencil….etc. for 10 days….Remove the old  coconut or grape seed oil daily with a gentle cloth and reapply a thin layer. After the 10 days, use a gentle cleanser to clean them. Avoid scrubbing them for 1 month.

The eyebrows WILL appear bolder immediately after the procedure..this is common in all Permanent Makeup applications…it will begin to soften up after a few days. Hair strokes appear crisp and bold at first, but will soften up as the tissue heals.

It is very common to have areas fade more so than others..this is part of the healing process and will be treated at the recommended touch up appointment. Previously done eyebrows may take 1-3 treatments to achieve the desired result. Scar tissue in the brow area of eyebrows done multiple times WILL require additional procedures and fees will apply. Only use the  coconut or grape seed oil (a very thin coat, if you see it, you have too much on) on the treated area for 10 days.

Clients with darker skin (Indian, African American, Filipino, etc.), Please know that the Hair Strokes  WILL NOT appear as defined or as dark as lighter skin types due to the skin color already being naturally darker.
